Hello, I was reading One the worlds most succesful life coach and motivational speaker Jim Rohn. I came across this and taught I'll be stingy if I dont share. So enjoy with me.

Several years ago I went into the studio and recorded a 56-minute video for teenagers called, "Three Keys To Greatness." Although my focus was for teenagers, the principles I shared certainly apply to adults as well.

Recently I was asked to list these three things using one to two sentences for each. Now for your benefit here they are again.

○ Setting Goals. I call it the view of the future. Most people, including kids, will pay the price if they can see the promise of the future. So we need to help our kids see a well-defined future, so they will be motivated to pay the price today to attain the rewards of tomorrow. Goals help them do this.

○ Personal Development. Simply making consistent investments in our selfeducation and knowledge banks pays major dividends throughout our lives. I suggest having a minimum amount of time set aside for reading books, listening to audiocassettes, attending seminars, keeping a journal and spending time with other successful people. Charlie "Tremendous" Jones says you will be in five years the sum total of the books you read and the people you are around

○ Financial Planning. I call it the 70/30 plan. After receiving your paycheck or paying yourself, simply setting aside 10% for saving, 10% for investing and 10% for giving, and over time this will guarantee financial independence for a teenager.

If a young person, or for that matter an adult, focused on doing these three simple things over a long period of time I believe they will be assured success!

Change/Choice/Decision

One of the best places to start to turn your life around is by doing whatever appears on your mental "I should" list.
Indecision is the thief of opportunity.

Every life form seems to strive to its maximum except human beings. How tall will a tree grow? As tall as it possibly can.  Human beings, on the other hand, have been given the dignity of choice. You can choose to be all or you can choose to be less.  Why not stretch up to the full measure of the challenge and see what all you can do?

You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight.
Decision making can sometimes seem like inner civil war.
I used to say, "I sure hope things will change." Then I learned that the only way things are going to change for me is when I change.
Don't say, "If I could, I would." Say, "If I can, I will."
It doesn't matter which side of the fence you get off on sometimes.  What matters most is getting off!  You cannot make progress without making decisions.
We generally change ourselves for one of two reasons: inspiration or desperation.
If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree

Basic Steps to Achieving Success

 Allow me to share with you the Four Steps of Success. with excerpt from Jim Rohn.

1. Number one is good ideas. Be a collector of good ideas. My mentor taught me to keep a journal when I was thirteen  years old. I've been doing it now all these years. They will be passed on to my children and my grandchildren. If you hear a good health idea, capture it, write it down. Don't trust your memory.remember a short pencil is better than a long memory.

Then on a cold good day, go back through your journal, the ideas that changed your life, the ideas that saved your marriage, the ideas that bailed you out of bankruptcy, the ideas that helped you become successful, the ideas that made you millions. What a good review. Going back over the collection of ideas that you gathered over the years. So be a collector of good ideas for your business, for your relationships, for your future.

2. The next step to success is to have good plans. A good plan for the day, a good plan for the future, a good health plan, a good plan for your marriage. Building anything is like building a house, you need to have a plan.
     Now here is a good time management question: When should you start the day? Answer: As soon as you have it finished. It is like building a house, building a life. What if you just started laying bricks and somebody asks, "What are you building?" And you say, "I have no idea." See they would come and take you away to a safe place. So, don't start the house until you finish it. Now, is it possible to finish the house before you start it? Yes, but it would be foolish to start before you had it finished. Not a bad time management idea. Don't start the day until it is pretty well finished -- at least the outline of the day. Leave some room to improvise. Leave some room for extra strategies, but finish it before you start it.

And here is the next piece that is a little more challenging: Do not start the week until you have it finished. Lay it out, structure it, then put it to work. Then the next one is a little tougher yet; do not start the month until you have it finished.
And finally the big one, don't start the year until it is finished on paper. It's not a bad idea, toward the end of the year, to sit down with your family for the family structure plans, sit down in your business for the business plans, sit down with your financial advisor for your investments and map out the year... properties to buy, properties to sell, places to go with your family, lay out the year. I finally learned to do that.

3. Now, here is the third step to success, and it can be really challenging. Learning to handle the passing of time. It takes time to build a career, it takes time to make changes, so give your project time, give your people time. If you're working with people, give them time to learn, grow, change, develop, produce. And here is the big one, give yourself time. It takes time to master something new. It takes time to make altered changes and refinement in philosophy as well as activity. Give yourself time to learn, time to get it, time to start some momentum, time to finally achieve. It is easy to be impatient with yourself. I remember when I first tried to learn to tie my shoes. The shoe strings, it seemed like it would take me forever. Finally I got it and it didn't take forever, but it seemed like for a while I'd never learn, I'd get it backwards; the bow goes up and down instead of across. How do I straighten that out? Finally I got it, it just took time.

 So the lesson here is: Give yourself time, you can become a better pro, you can better master the art of parenting, you can better master the art of managing time, conserving resources,managing a business  working together as a partner.So Give yourself time. 

4. And here's the last one; learning to solve problems. Business problems, family problems, financial problems, emotional problems, etc. -- challenges for us all. Here's the best way to treat a problem: As an opportunity to grow. Change if you have to, modify if you must, discard an old philosophy that wasn't working well for a new one. The best I once heared from a great man is "if you will change, everything will change for you." Wow, I took that to heart, and sure enough the more I changed the more everything changed for me.

So learn to master good ideas, have good plans, handle the passing of time and solve problems, and you will be on your way to more success than you could ever imagine!

BASIC ELEMENTS TO REVIEW BEFORE JOINING A NETWORK MARKETING COMPANY.

With the high influx of Multi Level Marketing Companies Popularly known as Network Marketing Companies into our society.
    Not withstanding the fact that you can become very wealthy within a short period of time with the right attitude and determination. It is also true that you can spend your time, resources, and energy on a company that has no possibilities of fulfilling your dreams even in the farthest future irrespective of the fact that you put in the right attitude and determination. Thus, here are the basic element that you must look out for before joining any Network Marketing Company. 
                                                                                                                          

The first element we'll have to look out for is the PRODUCT or SERVICE  the company is offering. Now you must be able to answer the following questions in relation to the product or service the company the company is offering.

   1. DO YOU LIKE THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE? You will agree with me that what you do not like you derive no passion or pleasure spending time with it or even talking about it. Hence you must ensure that you like the product or service the company is offering. 
   2. IS THERE A NEED FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE. The presence of a need for the product or service guarantees the availability of a market for you. Hence you must ensure that there is a need for the product. 
   3. DOES THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE MEET THAT NEED? If the product or service meets the perceived need its undeniable that you will have people flocking in to benefit from the product or service.
   4. IS THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE PRICED  TO SELL? Okay I personally ignored doing this on my first interest in network marketing and found out that the offered product was by far more expensive than even a better product in the market. Hence I loosed big time. 
   5. IS THE PRICE OR PRODUCT PRICED FOR PROFIT. After the product or Service is sold, will there be a profit that can be shared among you and the other distributors of the product. 

The second element we'll have to look out for is the company's profile.On the company's profile, you'll have to ask the following questions. 
   1. IS THE COMPANY WELL RUN. The leadership of the company will influence the fulfilment of the company's promises. Hence ensure to run a back ground check on the company's leadership and management team. 
    2. DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE LEGALITY OF THE COMPANY? Its your duty to run a background check on the legality of the network marketing before giving it a shot. 

  The third element is the compensation plan. and we must ask the following questions
     1. CAN YOU AND THE PEOPLE YOU REFER GENERATE INCOME QUICKLY. 
     2. CAN YOU AND THE PEOPLE YOU REFER DEVELOP A MODERATE PART TIME INCOME IN REASONABLE TIME AND ENJOY AMAZING INCENTIVES.
    3. THE POSSIBILITY FOR SERIOUS FULL TIME INCOME FOR THOSE PEOPLE THAT WILL DECIDE TO ADAPT IT AS A FULL TIME JOB. 

 Lastly the fourth element you will to look out for is the SUPPORT SYSTEM. In doing this, you must ask the following questions.
